Hermione had never kissed a girl before. Well, she had never kissed anyone before really, so when Ginny had offered to give her lessons, (practice makes perfect after all!) far be it from Hermione to refuse.
Heart pounding nervously in her chest, hands balled into fists at her side as she tried to quell the rush of excitement that threatened to sweep her legs clean out from underneath her, she smiled, looking into deep, brown eyes that gazed reassuringly back at her.
“Relax,” she heard the other girl whisper soothingly. “There are some things a book just can’t teach you.”
