Okay, I'll do Al first...

1. I absolutely love love love Al... he is my fave character in FMA. I even love him more than Ed and I know for most people that is the total opposite!! He is adorably sweet and shy but he is also very loyal, trustworthy, and when he is backed into a corner... look the fuck out!! Also never mess with his family and friends cuz that just makes Al angry and its always those quiet ones you have to worry about!!

2. I pretty much only ship him with his brother Ed but I have read lots of very entertaining stuff with him and other boys in the fandom but HET Al just doesn't appeal to me

3. I would have to say Winry, I see her as Al's best friend and confidante. I even think she would be the one he would go to over his confused feelings for his brother and there would be no romantic feelings between them whatsoever.

4. Not sure if its unpopular or not but I guess his undying love for his brother and his boldness in confronting Ed with his feelings. Also I see Al as having a very dark hidden side that could play well in fics. He is very driven and protective which would also make him jealous and envious people do some crazy things. Also he is often times underestimated which makes him all the more dangerous in my mind. He would do anything to protect his brother and in his head, Ed is his and no one elses.

5. I wish he'd gotten his body back sooner than he did in the series... I think the adventures he and his brother had would've meant more if Al had been there physically. Also canon incest would have been nice... :D

6. I'm not sure whats canon or fanon really since I have missed parts of the series... I do think that Al is connected to his brother in a magical sort of way through the blood rune that Ed cast inside the suit of armor. I could totally see Al having a mark on his physical body that conveys this connection, possibly in the shape of the rune that was cast. I've never written it but I see it in my head often and may have to include it sometime soon.
