1. Harry Potter: Well with a screen name like mine, I had to see this one coming... I absolutely love love love just about everything there is to love about the Harry Potter fandom!! Harry Potter is the very first fandom I read or wrote fanfiction for and that has changed my life dramatically!! I first came into this fandom writing Dramione which is HET and now I mostly write Slash which is a major thing for someone like me!! The Harry Potter fandom has taught me to be more open minded and accepting of people's differences, in fact I think its those differences that now attract me to certain people. I write/ship just about everyone, have gone to several midnite showings of the movies and the stars of the series have become some of my faves to watch in movies!! There is not enough I can say about this fandom... it is just full of love and I am amazed at some of the wonderful lovely people I have met because of it and I think I might never stop enjoying this fandom... I just love it!! *gushes*
2. My Kids: OMG people... don't get me started!! I love my babies and yes I call them all my babies even though two of them are well into their teens!! My oldest Kaitlynn is now a full grown adult and she is my very best friend which I feel very lucky about!! I see alot of moms around me fighting with their kids and dealing with issues like drinking, drugs, and teen pregnancy... so far, I have had none of that drama!! Me and my kiddos get along brilliantly. I love how artistic and open minded they are... how they have minds of their own and don't automatically do what others tell them to. I love being able to share things with them and how we are all Harry Potter nerds even though it drives their dads crazy!! :D I love showing off their pictures, artwork and other accomplishments!! I tend to spoil them a bit but not to the point that they are selfish little brats and I also tend to brag about them alot... sometimes here on LJ even!! I love my kids and I am glad that they are so unique and lovable and that I get to share so much with them, it makes my life so happy and complete!! <3
3. Writing: I began writing when I was a teenager, mostly poetry and short stories but I mostly put it away when I became a mom... that is until I discovered the vast world of fanfiction... I was online and typed in something about Harry Potter, expecting to come up with stuff on the movies and books, what popped up was a site that ultimately changed my view of fandom!! The website was fanfiction.net and there I found a love of pervy stories that made loving Harry Potter seem much more adult in my mind!! I began writing my first fanfic in 2008 and finished 13 chapter by early 2009... I have never looked back!! That first story wasn't very good, writing wise but I think the idea behind it was still creative enough to keep me going... since then I have learned to hone my writing skills and have written 100's of stories, like I said, that site changed my take on fandom. I love being able to make the Harry Potter universe a universe where we adults can play... I love especially writing anything forbidden in normal society and I also love writing non canon couples. I tend to write very perverse and sexually explicit pieces but have recently been venturing out to more plot and dialogue which is hard for me to write... anyways, I love writing fanfiction and don't think I'll ever stop doing it in some form or another for many many years to come...
4. Music: I absolutely love music!! I tend to listen to all genre's and most artists I can find at least one song of theirs that I at least enjoy if not love!! My fave band of all time is Poison, I know... its a weird choice but I think its because I grew up in that eighties era as a teen and Poison was to me amazing... their music is full of life and fun, to me that's what music should be... fun!! I think also helps that I saw Poison twice in concert as a teen and it was totally kickass!! I like songs where the lyrics catch my ear but also music that just makes me want to get up and dance... if I can dance to it or sing along then yeah its a hit with me!! I love discovering new bands all the time so I love when people rec music to me. I always have music playing, either on the computer, my cell phone or on my MP3. Music is just what makes me feel alive and its a very creative bit of artistry!! I have a fondness for artists of the UK but that's to be expected since I'm a self professed anglophile!! The UK has some amazing artists like the Beatles, The Boomtown Rats, Ozzy, Police, Duran Duran, Muse, Blur, Adele, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, and the list could go on and on... I really do love pretty much all music and artists... from classical to heavy metal, country to hip hop, romantic ballads to pop hits... I listen to it all!! Music is one of my fave loves!! <3
5. Ed and Al Elric: Oh sexy sexy boys... I love these two!! They were my very first foray into anime and it is so lynx212 and vexed_wench's fault. I started out reading their Elricest stories and got hooked on the boys as a couple very fast. I then started watching the series and was amazed by it, from there I began watching other anime stuff and am now writing my very own Elricest. I have to say that in this fandom I am the most consistent... usually I write and read anything but in Full Metal, I only write Elricest and I pretty much only read slash unless its for voting in contests and I always ship the boys getting together in stories!! I love the dynamics of their relationship complicated by the forbidden aspect of incest... its a guilty pleasure!! <3
6. OTP's: I have several... LOL I know that sounds weird but its true!! My Harry Potter OTP for slash is of course Harry/Draco, but if your talking HET then its Hermione/Draco. I have and OTP for Next Gen which is Albus Severus/Scorpius and my Cross Gen OTP would be Draco/Albus Severus. I love lots of ships and like to spread the love around but I tend to come back to these pairings alot!! Also I recently aquired an OT3 in the HP universe which would be Draco/Harry/Lucius... its so totally hott!! In other fandoms I have more cohesive OTP's, in Vampire Diaries its Damon/Elena, for Teen Wolf its leaning towards Jackson/Danny or maybe Derek/Stiles, in Secret Circle its Cassie/Adam, in Twilight its Jacob/Nessie or maybe Jacob/Leah but I also love me some Jacob/Edward too.... In FMA its Ed/Al of course, in Vampire Knight its Kaname/Zero, Hetalia its America/England, Star Trek its Trip/T'Pol, Kirk/Spock and True Blood its Eric/Sookie. I love fandom and play in many of them!! I love all my OTP's!!
7. Favorite Book Series: I would have to say Harry Potter of course but I love lots and lots of books, I am always reading!! I would also have to include House of Night, Twilight, and Stefan's Diaries as fave series. I also love classic books like Gone with the Wind, Scarlet Letter, Little Women, Animal Farm, and Romeo & Juliet. I also read alot of slash romances and my faves of those would be the Heaven Sent series, Grand Jete, Precious Boy, and Beautiful Forever.
