RULES & HOW TO VOTE:

1. TO VOTE: copy-paste one of the Group/Ship templates below, fill in the information that you wish to vote for at any one time, and either submit it as a comment to this post (all comments are screened), or you can email it to hpfanficfanpollmod@gmail.com, or you can PM us here (hpfanficfanpoll) on Livejournal.
2. You can only vote 1 time per CATEGORY per GROUP/SHIP.
3. You don't have to vote for every Category or even for every Group/Ship. You vote what you want to vote on.
4. You can submit your votes in stages (piece-meal) or all at once. You don't have to cast all your votes at one time. Vote at your own pace, but make sure the votes are in before midnight PST on July 20th, 2014 or they won't count.
5. If you're a nominee, you cannot vote for yourself.
6. Ratings: Pay attention to ratings information for stories before clicking their links. You accept that you're of appropriate age to click on adult materials and understand that some fics might contain uncomfortable subject matter or subjects that might be considered triggers (be sure to read all warnings the author has posted).
7. Offsite fics: Please be aware that some fics are housed at sites that require you to create an account and log-in to read them.
8. No take-backs or do-overs. Once you submit your vote, that's it for you for that Category for that Group/Ship.
9. Please do not cheat and vote multiple times under different addresses. If you're caught doing this, you'll be permanently banned from participating in the awards ceremony.
10. Please do not ask others to vote for you if you're a nominee. A general request for them to vote is OK. Asking them to vote specifically for your stories is not.

• Best Adventure (for Gen Fic Group only, any length story)
• Best Drama-Angst Fic (any length story)

RESULTS & WINNER INFO.:

• At the end of the Voting period, votes will be tallied up by the members of the Awards Ceremony committee and double checked for accuracy.
• If there are more than 3 nominees for a Ship's Category, the top 3 winners will be announced and receive a special Winner's banner.
• In the case of 1 or 2 nominees only in a Ship's Category, a single winner will be announced.
• In order for a nominee to actually 'win' a Category when there are 2 or fewer nominees in that Category, they must receive at least 1 vote from a member of the public. Stories that do not receive even 1 vote from the public will not win that Category, even if they are the only nominated story in that Category (they will receive a Nomination banner, but not a Winner banner).
• Those stories who did not place in their Ship's/Group's Category will still receive a Nomination banner.
