I love being home....
We ended up coming home from the hospital yesterday afternoon. I could have stayed until today, but I was really ready to get out of there and Garrett needed his mommy at home.
So far all is going well. Except for bath time for G :) I can hear him up there screaming, he hates it whe his dad gives him a bath :) Allie is sleeping in her craddle. She is such a great baby. Today she has eaten very well.
Garrett absolutely loves his little sister. He is so good with her. He even got to sit on the couch and hold her today. He did ask if he could pick her up, but we told him no and he was ok with that.
I am feeling pretty good. Not nearly as sore as I was. My mom left today. It was great having her here. She is such a help! She has all our laundry done and Garrett loved having her to play with him. She will be back in a few weeks for a shorter visit. Then at the end of October she comes for a Sunday - Thursday to help me out while Rich is in Vegas for work.
I am having little bouts of emotions, but not to bad. Oh, today Rich picked up a homemade Chicken Pot pie from Costco for dinner, it was really tasty. That reminds me, I need to wrap it up and put it in the fridge.
