6 days til Christmas!
Wow, only the second official day of break and already I can say it has been amazing. like, totally amazing. Recap? okay cool.
Friday after band practice: dinner with singer, brandon, courteney, haylee, nikki, tina, allison, and myself.... tons of fun. then went to see Ocean's 12 for the second time with a large group of people, also tons of fun. then I came home at like 11 and completely crashed.. i think school had worn me out lol.
Saturday: picked haylee up around noon and we went out to lunch (la madeline's) then we made nikki's christmas present, which is sooooooo cool :). But we finished at like 3 and it was a really nice day outside so we went for a walk. First we walked up to the clubhouse and played on the swings and had some nice convos, but then we got booted out by some little kids so we went and harassed brandon into coming outside with us. so we spent the afternoon hanging out with him and that was really cool. I dunno, something about being outside with nothing to cause stress and with friends is just so... amazing, really. But yea, we walked around for a while then went to haylee's backyard where she and i played on the trampoline while brandon explored the gross, junk-afied, sewar-smelling creek.... and we decided that he is officially 16 going on like 9. lol jk it was funny. eventually we decided it was kinda cold so we went inside and talked for a while..but anyways i had fun chilling with brandon and haylee. next, tina picked us up and we went over to john's for a movie night. that was really weird. fun, but weird because well, i dont know why... im definately not friends with that crowd and don't exactly connect with them (thanks to haylee for word choice there) but w/e i made it through alive. So we went home and had our catholic girls sleepover @ haylee's. highlight of this part = getting the poo scared out of us by brandon, courteney, and paulette. so we were sitting in haylees basement (me, haylee, tina) and i look out the dark (like 11:00) window and this giant flashlight is shining in and oh my goodness it was sooo scary. I jumped, but not as badly as tina, who flew out of the room and up the stairs in a matter of seconds.. lol that was funny. So anyways, we wnet outside to talk to/yell at them and ended up sitting on haylee's porch for like an hour talking to brandon.. we had some interesting convo's about scary things and supernatural events, etc. it was cool... but kinda freaked me out a bit. so that was basically saturday.
sunday: we got up around 11 and haylee and I went to noon mass (o, and katie too), then Tina met up with us and we all helped with the giving tree... it was really cool. (giving tree = giving presents to people in a nursing home).. a great activity for the holidays. But yeah, it was fun everything from the ride over (with ryan finnegan and his really cute little brother.... very funny) to trying to assemble a touch-lamp with katie and watching an 80+ year old couple hold hands (so cute!) and giving this guy his cigarettes but having to take them back for health reasons to singing christmas carols as we walked from room to room and giving this one lady decorations for her window.... turns out, she doesnt have a window lol she wasnt too thrilled. so thats been my sunday so far and if you made it to the end of this entry/beginning of a novel then congratulations you are probably one of very few.
