The extent of my fangirlyness
I have a very large fic in progress - the Word document is 57 pages long. In order to avoid scrolling or paging forever, I created a bookmark near the end of the doc, and a macro to jump to the bookmark. Just yesterday I realized what I named the macro button, apparently without thinking about it at the time:

The large fic in question is Bet. So no, no big fic waiting in the wings. Hah. If I tried to write TWO multi-chapter fics at once my head would lift off my body...

And that's funny. The way you worded it, it sounded to me like a whole new story (which is sort of is for me since I'm still catching up) but I was wondering if you were going to shower us with new chapters all of a sudden! ;)

You're not the only person who asked if I had something new, and after reading what I wrote, I agree it sounds like something new. Yeesh.
I do have a mystery-type story that's in the works, but I really can't post any chapters until I'm sure I have no gaping plot holes. You know? I'm working that out, and at some point when I'm sure it's okay then I may release some of it. We shall see......

Oh, trust me, I know this one! The detailed storyline for Firestorm was 15 pages long. You have to plan mysteries out ahead of time so all the dots get connected properly. And when you publish as you write, you can't go back and fix so you have to be organized ahead of time.
