Ah, look at Booth being the perfect gentleman! Oh, we do love our chivalrous Booth, don't we?

What a great chapter. Brennan has had it with the extended foreplay, but Booth still seems to be in chivalrous mode and is trying to back off. How did I know that when he finally gave in, it was going to be an absolute whirlwind?

Oh, damn the phone call! But funny... because I've used that ploy myself to stretch things out.

Springing to his feet, he began to pace in an attempt to calm his body, which obviously hadn’t gotten the same phone call he and Bones had.

Ha! Liked that line. Funny...

Oh, things are going to boil over soon. When they finally get down to it, I have a feeling that it will be pure fireworks!

Brennan is definitely very aggressive - almost manlike - in her approach to sex. I have quite a bit of fun writing her that way, I have to admit! And Booth - yes, he's trying to do the right thing, but his libido is protesting mightily. So yeah, there are definitely going to be fireworks down the road....

Glad that you liked it. I've had an insane week-end (because we decided to start writing the novel, so that was all of Saturday and then decided that I was rusty so we'd write a Bones one-shot, so that was all of yesterday), so I'm late on my review replies, but I'm going there next!
