There's the explanation. If you want some examples, go check on tania_sings' journal. She has a tag that is "crack" or "crack fic". She writes the best crack fics I've ever read and they can give you an idea :)

SC - the piece you're betaing for me right now is a crackfic. It's basically something so totally out-there that it could and should never happen in canon and that's something both the author and reader understand. It's not intended to be taken seriously, and is either just done for the lols or done to parody something in fandom or RL and draw attention to those absurdities.
