2012 Update
Hi all, just a quick update to let people on the comm know that there will be no formally-organised 2012 Meet-Up by the usual suspects.
We've had to make this decision based on several things, namely
- Organisers' job/health/other RL issues - these continue and take priority, as we hope you all understand
- Dates being hard to agree on
- Desired venue (Cardiff) has an event going on during the one weekend on which we could all agree and there is little accommodation available
- Olympics/Paralympics and other fandom conventions taking precedence both financially and time-wise
Having said all that, there is no reason why anyone on this comm can't use it to organise other meet-ups, and we (the past organisers) hope to be back up and running asap.
In the meantime, thank you all for the wonderful memories so far and we look forward to making new ones.
