At last, the Round Three Announcement Post!

Here's some preparatory info about the next round of the Potterverse Tarot Fest.

We will have room for a maximum of 30 writers and 30 artists, and slots will be assigned first-come first-serve. Signups will begin on June 1st and run to June 11th. THIS IS NOT THE SIGNUP POST. This is just a preliminary

Very best of luck! Sadly my first day back at work after 10 months maternity leave is 2nd June, and I expect my summer to be very stressful. I couldn't possible face dropping out and letting you down as I did when I got pregnant.

I haven't participated in the previous 2 I just found out about this one and I don't own a tarot deck but I am familiar with them. Would I still be able to sign up.

Yea. There's nothing saying you have to own a tarot deck. I don't, and I've participated in the last two rounds. If you want to have a random card drawn, one of the mods could do it for you.

Ditto what bk03 said, you can either have a mod pick a card or cards for you, or even pick a number from one to 78 and we could tell you what card that corresponds to...

You could also pick a card from a regular deck of cards, but the 'trump' cards (the Major Arcana) wouldn't be represented there.

This seems a great way to get the plot bunnies going. As for the tarot readings, are we allowed to use online tarot reading services? I located a couple automated ones when I did a search, and the results already have me thinking... :)

And to double check, this isn't an anon fest?

Sure! This is the one I used: http://www.facade.com/tarot/ It was a bit complicated (I've never had a tarot reading before), and I didn't understand all the choices, but the results were so interesting.

http://www.llewellyn.com/free/tarot.php This one seems a bit simpler, but I didn't use it.

I'll probably steer people to the "Three Fates" spread at Facade, since it's a 3 card spread, or the "Past, Present, Future" one at Llewellyn, which is also 3 cards.
