Summary: Hermione Jane Granger began to exhibit her first signs of magic
three months before her eleventh birthday. Needless to say, Dr. and Dr.
Granger never had a quiet breakfast again.
Notes: Very little is said in canon about Hermione's parents. They accompany
her to Diagon Alley on occasion, but being successful, highly logical
professionals, it is probable that they would have difficulty understanding
their daughter. Her abilities, after all, lead her on a path that is very
different from their own. I went for 'lovingly concerned'. Hope you like it
