Mystery Author, what a wonderful story! I love the little snippets you show, the Bloody Baron's backstory, and the new Hogwarts ghost. (How ironic: he may have survived as a ghost, but he'll no longer have any real respect.)

Brilliant - best of the season so far.

The identity of the Bloody Baron took me completely by surprise. How the mighty are fallen - Grindelwald becoming part of the furniture and a source of mild amusement? Dumbledore was a clever man.

Oh, brilliant! I love the idea of the council of ghosts - I've been on a few committees that were just about as scatty as this one was at the start, and I empathise with the Baron on that point. The Baron's revelation was a stroke of genius, and I adore the idea that allowing Voldemort to haunt Hogwarts will defuse the power of his identity.

Clever and funny with a surprising twist. (Is he telling the truth?) And if so, Dumbledore is responsible for his bloodstains - what a lovely little detail, and one I particularly liked!

This is delightful! The idea that Voldemort would become a ghost and want to return to Hogwarts is funny but entirely plausible. Great history for the Bloody Baron ... who would've thought? And it's true - Voldemort as a ghost could command no respect, and what better punishment to award him? I wonder what nickname he would get, though! And incidentally, did Myrtle ever figure out that she was his first victim? That could make for interesting future ghost councils! *grin*
