Mod Post: Seeking new mods
My life is in a very strange place at the moment. Because of this I have had to put you guys on the back burner for the last few weeks and it isn't fair. Not to you.
Because of the uncertain ground that lay ahead of me, I am now on the search for additional mods.
I would like to remain a mod of the community, but find some help.
I don't want to cheat you guys, or hold back how awesome this community can be, with my recent and indefinite inability to run this place.
So! If any of you who love this community and would like to be a part of keeping it strong by becoming a mod-- please copy and paste the following bold area into a comment, with your responses:

1.) Have you ever been a mod of an icontest, if so- which ones?
2.) What are your favorite and least favorite aspects about how the community is run?
3.) Would you be willing (and do you have the means) to make banners, post polls, and do promotional work for the comm?
4.) If you found that a member's icon won by cheating of any variety, how would you deal with the situation? (what would you say to the perpetrator and also the comm as a whole?)
5.) Part of the reason this community is so hard for me to run lately is that it is a lot of work, and I'm not looking for someone who can't handle the workload, because then I would still be in the same position as I am now, so I have to ask: Are you really committed to this?
I am looking for two to three people because I really need more help and I don't want to just push everything else on someone else. I think with a team of us working here the community will be bound to be more successful. I would like to be able to separate and delegate tasks so that the workload is much lighter on all of us, and so that if one of us isn't available, another can pick up the slack for a while. I should have done this back when I first kicked off the comeback a few months ago.. but simply didn't foresee the need. Better late than never.
I am going to post the long over due voting and submission posts tomorrow. I will accept applications to this post for a week, so hopefully that will be enough time to find the team I am looking for.
I'm sorry that I've let you guys down, especially when we were moving with such great momentum. Let's pick it up again!
