About You
Describe your personality: I'm a very compassionate person and I try to be as supportive as I can -- I'd do anything for my family and friends. They mean the world to me! I'm a bit withdrawn in the sense that it can be really hard for me to open up about my feelings and I tend to bottle them up inside. I also don't like confrontations, and if someone does something I disagree with I tend to just let it go. I think I'm pretty independent - at least for a student who doesn't have a full-time job (meaning I still rely on my parents for some things). It can be a bad thing because I don't often ask for help, even if I need it, but I don't like relying on others. They've usually let me down, so I don't do that anymore. I like to have fun and goof around, but I can also be serious. I am pretty idealistic and I like to dream a lot about what my life COULD be like, but I also think that I'm grounded and I know what the reality of my situation is. I could make my dreams come true, but it is going to take a lot of hard work and I know that, and I'm not afraid of that. I'm very laid-back and I don't get upset or offended easily - it really takes a LOT to make me mad. Also, I just think that I'm a nice person. I'm a bit shy when it comes to meeting people for the first time, but I'm very friendly and polite.
My Meyers-Briggs personality type is INFP (introverted, intuitive, feeling, perceiving) and my iPersonic type is the Dreamy Idealist. :)
Positive qualities: Sweet, compassionate, friendly, fiercely loyal, independent
Negative qualities: Reserved, a procrastinator, indecisive, sarcastic, stubborn, too hard on myself
Neutral qualities: I'm bad at these, but I'm introverted, idealistic, feminine, and slightly romantic.
Likes: Reading (I have more books than I have room on my bookshelves, and I love it that way), watching movies, being with my friends, drinking coffee, my dog, flowers, stars, rain, baking and baked goods, writing, music, theater, Disney, Harry Potter, Audrey Hepburn, shoes, things that are pink!
Dislikes/Pet Peeves: Oranges, beets, ticks, deep water, smoking, arrogance, rudeness, people who complain about things but don't bother to do anything to change it, gum-chewing and other loud, obnoxious chewing sounds, sounds people make when they sleep.
Strengths: My compassion, loyalty, and intelligence (at times, I have more stupid moments than I'd like to admit).
Weaknesses: I can really doubt myself sometimes, and I procrastinate a lot. :\
This or That
Optimistic or Pessimistic: Mostly optimistic, but I do have my pessimistic tendencies!
Realistic or Idealistic: Idealistic, but I also think I have a good sense of reality.
Introverted or Extroverted: Introverted. I love hanging out with my friends and meeting new people, but I also need my alone time.
Brave or Safe: Brave, but not reckless.
Selfish or Selfless: I try to be mostly selfless, but I also don't think anyone is completely selfless. We're all at least a little bit selfish - we have to be.
Stoic or Emotional: Emotional, definitely, but sometimes I can appear stoic on the outside
Trusting or Cynical: Trusting but not overly so, it takes me a while to really be able to trust someone.
Brains or Brawn: Brains!
Cheerful or Melancholy: Usually cheerful but definitely not all the time.
Impulsive or Cautious: Mostly cautious, but I can be impulsive, especially when shopping!
Modest or Vain: Modest
Independent or Dependent: Independent! I don't like relying on people for anything.
Uptight or Laidback: Very laid-back... mostly.
Funny or Serious: Both! I love making jokes and having fun, but I can be serious when I need to be.
Harry Potter
Are you one to go for the "good guys" or "bad guys"? Umm, I guess I usually go for the "good guys" but in books and movies and tv shows and stuff, I have definitely liked some of the "bad guys" too. :)
Would you ever play a character that's considered evil? Definitely! If I was an actor, I think I'd have a lot of fun playing someone who's evil because it would be completely different from who I am, haha.
Are you more fond of younger actors or more seasoned, older actors? Older actors, definitely. A lot of my favorite actors are much older than I am, and sometimes I just find them more attractive, too, lol. I do like some of the younger ones, but I tend to prefer the older ones.
Do you like lead roles or would you prefer to be in the background? Ummm, I'm not sure! If I was younger I definitely would have said a lead role, but I do think that supporting roles are extremely important, too. I guess it just depends on the role itself, and what kind of character I'd be playing. I just don't like being in the spotlight very much.
Which of the actors do you think are TOTALLY unlike you? Please limit this to... like, 4 hahah Uhh, I have no idea. You can go crazy here, haha.
