This is SO CUTE. *dies* I love Gawain's perspectives on all the characters. And I'm sure he'll make an excellent big brother. :)

Also highly amused at how he thinks the cat's name is Basket, mostly because everyone always spells ldybastet's name as ldybasket. LOL.

*blushes* It's just silly fluff but the cheeky little devil took hold of my brain one day and insisted on tellng me his story.

Bastet was the name of Bill's serval in an RPG and I couldn't let her go to waste -- and Gawain just named her 'Basket'. I had no idea that poor Ldy has had to suffer the same fate! :)

Hopefully you'll cut Gav some slack as he's only three! But yes, they should be thwapped. Or just made to suffer the wrath of one very pissed off Egyptian Goddess...

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It's a fave of mine. I don't normally write such fluffy things but it came to and pretty much wrote itself and there's just something too cute about a baby Weasley (or three) :)

Eventually, yes. There is a companion piece I just posted here if you're interested. Scarily, I have some idea about all three kids in future. I need a life. LOL

Aw, thanks, love. Although I don't want anyone crying over it! (My first reaction is to think "OMG, it's so awful it made her cry!!")

*hugs* I know. It's just that I've been up all night not being able to write this pinch hit and my brain has gone to strange places at this point.

I did write this post HBP but really, I needed a happy ending for things. HBP depressed me terribly and I didn't think I could ever quite make canon work for me again until I wrote "Survivors" which justifies things for me. I figure people are/were emotionally/psychologically damaged by the war and everything but I couldn't bear to kill anyone off. So I didn't.

I'm terrified about things too which is why I reacted so strongly to The Book being released in the middle of Sectus which I was thinking of as our last hurrah before the storm. *sigh* Personally, I have a bad feeling that Tonks isn't going to make it so...yeah.

I love the tone of this - warm and yet knowing! Have you read The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, by any chance? That uses the same mispronunciation of key words, and it works brilliantly here (er, just to be on the safe side, I promise I'm not accusing you of plagiarism - I just really like the device!). Oh, and I'd love to see Tonk's 'elfant' face :).

*deep breath* I love the way Arthur's Muggle collections are one of his most important 'things'.

Oh, I love this - it's just perfectly pitched. And I especially love you for this line: "She is not married to Uncle Harry but everyone says they will be some day."

Sorry - I have Issues with teenage marriage fics, and I just tried to read one, and gah, it would've been so good, if it hadn't been for that!

What if Mummy is sick? Or angry?

And now I'm reminded of poor Walter Blythe when he's sent away because (I think) Rilla of Ingleside is being born :D.

This is absolutely brilliant - perfectly done and nonstop cool throughout!

Thanks so much for the kind words. It means a lot. I haven't read the story you mentioned-- if you have a link, I'd love to read it. I was inspired by my cousin's 3 yr old son and my goddaughter (now 10 but more of what she was like at that age) and Gawain just took over my brain.

I'm with you on teen marriage fics even if it seems to be canonical (Molly/Arthur, James/Lily, Andromeda/Ted for a start). I just think that Harry might be a bit more cautious about relationships despite everything -- this is set roughly 7 years after the end of the War, btw.

Ooooh an Lucy Maud Montgomery reference! Whee! I haven't read those books in about 15 years but that might've been in the back of my head too -- there's a companion story here which explains things more. Just not something a 3 yr old could quite gather.

Thank you again -- it means a lot to me.

But little sisters aren’t so bad because Auntie Ginny was one once upon a time and he thinks she’s pretty cool even if she is a girl.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH DEAD FROM CUTE.

This is so amazingly adorable and I love you. ♥

*blushes* Thanks, sweetie! I'm so glad you liked it. Scary that deep down beneath my deviant exterior, there lives a pink fluffy bunny who thrives on cute. ;)
