Macbook is now in the hands of the Genius Bar. They're dealing with backlog of repairs because of Bev.Center remodel. 7-9days. Adapter and battery are fine. Genius frowned at me when I told him I never knew about letting my battery run down like ixchelmala suggested me to do. FYI, I did that last night. No crazy battery looking crap going on now. Genius
