(no subject)
So. Today, work was... exhausting. I had a lot of stuff to do, but I didn't get anywhere close to finishing it because my computer kept fucking up and giving off a blue screen. It's done that like... almost every other day since I was put there. Adrian keeps coming down to fix it and he does, but it's only temporary. He ran diagnostics and whatever-the-fuck-else on it and it STILL DOES THAT! So I ended up, in my last half hour, going up to Jenny's floor and doing the last of whatever I could do up there. I even called a couple customers and had minimal success (fucking screw-ups, they are).
And then Jenny walked me to the metro station until I got on the Red Line and she went back to work to meet her friend. She and her friend were going to the Kwik-E-Mart nearby to go and pilfer the goods. I told her to get me some donuts, and she came through spectacularly-- or, I should say, her friend did. He paid for them, though he wasn't supposed to. Sneaky bastard. So, I got home in time to change out of being really sweaty and gross from basically nearly running away from Hi-Life after getting dinner to-go. And Jenny came over to deliver the Simpson donut goods and her friend took tomatoes. Karen came over soon after that to deliver home-made salsa her mother made with the tomatoes that we grew. It smells fantastic.
And the three of us chatted after Jenny's friend left earlier. Talked about jobs. food. donuts of evil. etc etc etc.
And now I am exhaustified and it's nearly 10:30pm. What a full day.
Of course, partway through Jenny and Karen being here, it was noted that one of the donuts in my pack of six went missing. Yeah. Thanks, mom.
I'm fed. Watered. And sore. Good day.
Tomorrow, I'm going to work with Jenny and then she's going to class after work and I'm going home before meeting up with Karen and going to the movies with her to hold a spot in line for the Simpsons movie midnght showing in Alhambra. We're going to be us two, Jenny, and Jenny's two friends. Should be fun. I plan to sleep all weekend when it comes xD
