So, mom went to lunch at Boston Market yesterday. When she went shopping in the evening after work, she noticed she didn't have her BofA card and realized that she must've left it at Boston Market. However, what happened was that she handed her card to the guy to swipe through, then proceeded to enter in her PIN number on the number pad provided and the guy conveniently did not hand her card back to her. My mother, somewhat absent-minded, failed to notice and went on about her day. The guy then proceeded to spend over 400 bucks buying fast food and movies and things in the stores around that Boston Market. My mother called it in and BofA is taking care of it. She'll get her money back. *sigh* I do wish my mother would have her wits about her a bit more. ... She couldn't even get properly angry about it because my brothers spent hours last night being angry for her. Really angry.
Anyway, work today. Mom's birthday is on Thursday. Mine's coming up on Friday. She doesn't want me to get her anything for her birthday. I asked her why and said it's because I have to buy my own books. I kinda just looked at her funny and headed back to my room. Whatevs.
I was still feeling icky yesterday, but the feeling finally subsided, and I feel so much less disgusting and vomity. Go me!
