2 out of 11 (so far) ain't bad
Got into SUNY Albany (!!! woot!) as a presidential scholar with the option of attending the Honors College. They're giving me money too ($3,500 a year, i think).
Also, Rutgers offered me a scholarship- $10,000 per year. Now that's a lot of money. That would bring it down to the cost of a SUNY school (it's a NJ state school). Tempting to go there, now. We'll see where else I can get in.
Don't remember if I mentioned that I'm in the play again: Once Upon A Mattress. As usual, I'm in the chorus. I've learned to accept my fate as the unimportant extra.
Oh, and I don't know if anyone will remember, but about 2 years ago I posted about this girl who told my friend that I was a bitch and blah blah blah. I only remember this b/c I was reading all my past entries a few days ago (what? I was bored). Well, unfortunately, she is rooming with me (and 2 of my friends) on the VE trip in May. I'm not so much with the happy on this. Actually, I kind of stormed across the room to bitch about it with some other girls. They sympathize, only because she is totally annoying. No one else knows about how she told my best friend I couldn't sing and I was a show-off. I am the quietest person in Voice Ensemble and the Drama Club. There is NO WAY anyone would every being to call me a show-off. I got the last laugh when neither of us made VE as sophomores. HAHA BITCH! I guess you couldn't sing either. Guess she got her comeuppance when no one wanted to room with her. Ouch, karma is a bitch (TM Katie lol). But I will not let her ruin the trip. I am going to have an awesome time, no matter what.
Lacrosse starts in 2 weeks and I'm extremely out of shape.
Tomorrow, I'm taking the train to Trenton (then driving to somewhere outside Philly) to visit The Six (and a bunch of other people) from Pilgrimage!!!! I am sooooo excited you have no idea. I'll be back on Monday, which is too soon. I wish I had another six weeks with everyone!
Oh, Sweet Group 5. Good times never seemed so good.
