Yesterday my family and I went into the city. First we went to Madam Tussauds Wax Museum, which was pretty cool. I became biffs with the Spice Girls, and George Clooney finally admitted that he's madly in love with me ;) Took pics of favorite celebs, please ignore my family trying to have fun but really embarrassing me:
Me+Paris=bffaeae!1!11!!!11 Afterwards, we went to a restaurant for dinner, then to see Phantom of the Opera. And by God, was it a show. It's the most amazing thing I've ever seen. It beats everything else on Broadway by a fucking mile. We had amazing seats: eleven rows back from the stage, center section, middle of the row. I saw the actors faces perfectly and we weren't too close or too far back to be able to see the chandelier. Seriously, that thing was cool. And Hugh Panaro owns (pwns!!) that show. I thought Gerard Butler was good in the movie, but hes complete trash compared to Hugh Panaro. I mean, words cannot describe how amazing he is. Wow. Yeah, the show was incredible. Amazing voices and special effects (lots of death and fire lol). The only problem I had was with the woman who played Meg. She was annoying. I took pics of the chandelier during intermission (it crashed [thats supposed to happen lol] and was onstage at the end of Act 1, but I left to go to the bathroom and when I came back it was back on the ceiling so I was kinda mad) and pics of the sign outside. Those are in with the Wax Museum pics.
So it was fun. Next is Spamalot and Hairspray, i think. I love Broadway.
