Yeah, Hermione would help them. She is just like that - at least the Hermione I picture in my mind.
And you made the devil human. Lucius, I mean.

The way you show how the last bit of their innocence got lost and how they tried to deal with it ... war is cruel.

Thank you - I'm glad you liked Lucius. He's a tricky one to write.

I'm glad you liked it, and you were so very right about who I am.

Thanks for reccing it to the world and his wife.

I think it's going to be a trilogy overall. Because we all like threesomes!

I admit that the ending made me cry a little bit. That could be because I'm a confirmed crybaby, but all the same I found this story and the end in particular very touching.

Harry and Ron will be good Aurors, but they will be good because they like people and want to help them, not because they burn with a sense of outrage at injustice.

I think that's a very good distinction to make, and I also really like that it's Hermione that's given the sense of outrage...

Hermione has never liked house-elves

...Because of that.

I think that's a very admirable trait in your Hermione, that she is committed to righting the wrongs done even to those she doesn't like.

Did it? Owww - they all have happy ever afters you know.

I think it is as well - I've seen all sorts of comments about her lacking empathy, but I think a moral sense that doesn't depend on liking people / things is arguably superior.

What a wonderful story! I loved the interaction between Hermione and the Slytherins, and the uneasy truce they'd called, as if they thought they should still be enemies, but were far too tired to bother.

This line in particular: The war has only hastened the inevitable rift that time and different interests would have brought about, rang so very true, and it's a subject that rarely seems to be visited by fanfic authors.

~applause~ Very well done!
