Harry and Ginny at home

Ginny had fallen asleep on the sofa promptly after she'd had dinner and turned on the telly. She had wanted to be awake when Harry got home, but being exhausted from a long day, she'd fallen asleep.

"I did, actually," he said. "Threatening still counts as talking, right?"

"Harry!" she said, pouncing on him. "What did you say to him?"

[harry_hpr]

"Well, you should have seen her, Ginny!" he protested. "She's killing herself working extra hours for this guy, who by the way needs to buy a broom, or something, and he just sits there and enjoys the benefits."

Ginny sighed, knowing he was right. She'd had a nice talk with Hermione herself about her boss.

"I hope you at least got something out of it," she said, looking down at him. "Or at least got Hermione some time off."

[harry_hpr]

"He's going to let them keep normal hours from now on," he said, nodding with satisfaction. "What?" he said at the look on her face. "I asked nicely."

"Threatening him is nice?" she asked, arching a brow.

[harry_hpr]

"It wasn't, like, physical threats," he assured her. "I read somewhere that assaulting lawyers just isn't done."

[ginny_hpr]

"Mmm," she said with a laugh. "As long as you helped Hermione out of a bad situation, I'll let it go."

[harry_hpr]

"Thank you," he said. "I appreciate that."

[ginny_hpr]

Ginny leaned down and kissed him softly on the lips. "I love you," she said as she kissed his nose.

"Oh, really?" he mumbled, closing his eyes as he relaxed to her gentle touch.

"Yes," she replied, kissing his eyelids as he closed them.
