Ginny and Harry at home

Ginny sat at the kitchen table with a cup of tea. The holidays had been nice with Lily there to share it with them. She and Harry had given her mother the excuse that they wanted to be together for Christmas Day instead of being with the entire Weasley clan

"Morning," Harry replied, yawning. He'd made some effort to get dressed this morning, as he had been doing since the unfortunate incident when his mother had walked in on him in his underwear. Still, his t-shirt was the same one he'd worn the day before and his track pants flapped around his bare feet. He couldn't help it - he was a slob by nature. "Tea..." he groaned, pouring himself a cup.

"Don't you look dashing," she grinned, taking a sip of her tea.

"Oh, shut up," he moaned, taking the first gulp of the black tea. It woke him up rather considerably. "Whew. S'better."

"I can't make a joke?" she asked, arching a brow at him. "Come sit with me."

Ginny nodded. "I just want you both to be happy is all."

[harry_hpr]

He sighed. "I think she's a while away from that. She's lost her husband and almost thirty years of her life."

"And she looks younger than we do," she replied. "That's got to be confusing. Not to mention all the changes..."

[harry_hpr]

"Tell me about it," he said. "I would have a nervous breakdown."
