Holy fuck. The drabble was hot as hell, but I *loved* your take on it for the fic. I'm not a fan of minimalist storytelling as a rule, but that was beautifully done, unpretentious and I absolutely loved it. And that is a killer first line :-)

Eh, you know what I mean ;-) I can't cope with the cryptic 'fish elephant artichoke' arty-farty stuff which people tend to write in short paragraphs like that, but this was GOOD.
