Department of Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures
In the past weeks a series of attacks struck both near and across the line of Muggle and Wizard relations, a violent and desperate attempt was made by malcontents and dangerous elements of our country who sought to silence with fear and brute force voices that called for a greater accountability against those who have challenged our way of life. They tried by making the attack personal and brutal to this office, hoping perhaps that somehow we would be intimidated into submission. They tried with their most heinous means to destroy some of our most basic rights, our security to step out in public without fear and the promise of protection for our children and grandchildren.
This office stands with the Minister of Magic, and the other departments of the government to say, they have not succeeded. We stand strong, united and dedicated to governing the country and defending it against any threat foreign and domestic. The office of Magical Creatures will work hand in hand with Magical Law Enforcement and Muggle Relations to ensure that no party involved with the attack itself or a cover-up will be immune from swift retribution.

Secretary Matthias Heim will conduct interviews at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to alleviate the public concern that dangerous elements of our community have infiltrated our most sacred institution. Citing Educational Degrees 23, Heim has been named Hogwarts High Inquisitor, replacing the seat’s previous head Delores Umbridge. The High Inquisitor’s position has been largely ceremonial for decades. Heim with his leadership ability, fortitude and steadfast devotion to law and order will bring a welcome discipline to the school.
Rally to be Held in Diagon Alley Next Wednesday
Hundreds are expected to gather in Diagon Alley next Wednesday in solidarity with the proposed changes to the government and legal centers of England. The protestors are calling for a greater accountability from Hogwarts, and the Ministry. They want known Death Eaters, Dark Wizards and Creatures removed from power where they could pose a danger and a future threat to the country. They claim that the truce of ten years ago was merely nothing more then the latest ploy by Dark Wizards to capture power.
Counter-protests are also scheduled for that day.
