Ron heard him yelling and headed down the corridor towards the voice. Seeing Harry he frowned, "Bloody 'ell mate you'll wake the 'ole school up, can't go..." But he was cut off by the look on Harry's face. There was something wrong, something so very not right.
"Everything alright at Mungo's? Saw Snape, he was a right bloodied mess."
"Hermione's left the school, Ron. They have her. I received an owl telling me where she is, but we're going to need to hurry."
Harry was pale as he spoke. Images of Bellatrix torturing Hermione when they were children were fresh in his mind. "We can go just outside the boundaries of the school and apparate."
He stopped, all the colour draining from his face and eyes going wide. No, they couldn't, she wouldn't. "Harry, it's got to be a trap, 'Mione's in our room with Hugo, I left her there before I went on patrol. She wouldn't go running off...she wouldn't."
But there was so much fear in his voice because part of him knew that Hermione would have gone to help, he just wanted to listen to the part that was telling him she was safe.
Harry would love for this to be a trap. He would love to think this was a set up and if they checked in with Hermione in the school they would find her. Unfortunately his stomach is knotting up. He can't imagine Draco luring them into a trap.
When did he start trusting Draco?
"Let's check the room quickly. You check that, and I'll check her classroom. We'll meet right back here then." They needed to hurry. Confirm if she was here or not because if not they needed to go now and retrieve her.
He just nodded, unable to say anything. Turning he just ran down the corridor towards their quarters, his heart pounding hard in his chest. Please be there, please be there.
Down the stairs and through, what felt like, endless corridors, until he skidded to a stop outside their quarters. Flinging open the door he ran through each part. The kids room, their room into the kitting room where he spotted his mum.
"Where is she? Where's Hermione?"
"She went to the hospital, Ron, what is it?"
He turned, white and headed back out of the room.
"Ronald, what's going on?"
"They've got Hermione," he yelled before running back to find Harry.
Harry had no luck finding her in her classroom. He checked with students and other professors alike, but no one had seen Hermione. His blood was running cold again.
He ran back to the corridor where he was supposed to meet Ron just as Ron was approaching.
"Tell me you found her." He knew he hadn't though. Harry could see that much written on his best friend's face.
He thought about the note that Draco sent and his mention of the locater spell. "Come with me," he said, as they ran toward his own office. He was grateful that it was empty. Inside the top of the desk, he plucked out a map and spread it out.
Picking up his wand, he mumbled a basic locater spell and waited for something to happen on the map. There was nothing.
Harry reached out and gripped Ron's shoulder tightly. The memories were clear and fresh in his memory as well. "We'll get her back, and we'll make them pay for dating to take her."
He nodded when Ron pointed out that they would probably need back up. There was no telling how many people would be waiting on them. "Who should we send a signal out too?"
"Patronus Ginny and a couple others. We could use some back up, but we should go ahead and get going." He started running out of the castle and toward the closest area free of the apparation barriers.
Harry could feel his heart pounding in his chest, and he was terrified of what they would find. No, no Hermione would still be alive. She might be a bit worse for wear, but they wouldn't lose her. They couldn't lose her.
Once they reached the edge of the school and the patronus was cast, they apparated straight to Malfoy Manor. Right next to a peacock. Yes. A peacock. The first thing either heard was the sound of a scream.
Doing everything needed he followed and aparated with Harry, his eyes taking a moment to realise where they had exactly appeared.
The sound of Hermione's screams ripped through him like a deep wound, his heart hammering hard in his chest, turning on his heels he headed up towards the house, not even waiting for Harry.
He needed to find her, he needed to get her out and safe.
Severus Apparated, and looked around the Manor grounds not caring a moment for the darkness or who else was there. His Mark still burned from earlier and he still had Neville's blood on his robes from earlier.
The scream made Severus jump a little in place. He ignored the tremors and pushed into the house's entrance.
He had to see what was going on...who was there. His Mark pulsed a little.

Taking a breath, trying to swallow that sickening feeling he looked at his best mate, "Where is she?"

There were tears in his eyes, "If they've so much has harmed her I'll kill'em."
