What? Owl to dad!

Where? Orlando, Florida
Why? Because no, she's not used to the family being separated.
Author's Note: For the hp_random prompt "Hope"
Andrea woke up very early. So early that the moon hadn't set quite yet, and she sat up to watch it go down, then listen to all the sounds of the Florida morning.
The moon, of course, made her think of home. Of dad, and of Maisie.
As quietly as she could, so as not to wake up Anna Min, she got her writing things out and starting penning an owl home. It would probably not get there until the afternoon, with the time difference, but that didn't matter.
She actually felt very bad for having been so quiet since he had returned home. It hadn't been nice, had it? Even if she did feel sad and was only doing it because she didn't feel like talking much. But... he was Dad.
So now she would try to make up for it, a little.
Dad,
I hope that you are not feeling too bad today, and that you can get enough rest so you feel better quickly.
It's beautiful here, and Disney World is great, and, besides everything, there are different things growing here than at home - I'm sending you some of a flower I like a lot that is local here - I hope you like it too, and it cheers you up a little.
We miss you all a lot, and love you!

Enclosed were a few sandspur blossoms. Also, a picture of the three of them before the Tower of Terror at the Disney-MGM Studios park.
Hopefully, it would make a good (afternoon) wake-up greeting for him.
