It's the year 2000. For the past 500 years, wizards have lived openly as the masters of their muggle counterparts. The Statute of Secrecy never existed. In England, the royal Peverell line was ruthless in keeping the 'peace.'
Now that peace is destroyed. The last Peverell king is mad and his health is failing. Two families have a strong claim to the throne after him. But the muggles and commoner wizards are starting to band together and ask: Do we really need a king? They're asking this question with bombs and bullets.
