at least "Lumos" isn't creepy...

"Can I have that?" interrupted Draco, pointing at the withered hand on its cushion.

"Ah, the Hand of Glory!" said Mr. Borgin, abandoning Mr. Malfoy's list and scurrying over to Draco. "Insert a candle and it gives light only to the holder! Best friend of thieves and plunderers! Your son has fine taste, sir."

October Patterns
I hope you've enjoyed the October patterns! This month, I've tried to focus on creepy, scary or spooky objects. It's been a lot of fun, though I think today's might just be the creepiest of the lot. It's not everyday I make a severed hand out of fabric!

New Challenge
To be announced next week!

Tester of the Month
mkissa, whose name I pulled from the hat yesterday, has requested that I draw another name. She was also the winner in August and would like to give someone else the opportunity to win this month's pack of fabric. Due to her generosity, we get a second go at this and bumblebre4life is our new October winner!

Congratulations, bumblebre4life! If you'll send your mailing address to my email, I'll get your prize out as soon as possible.

See you soon,

tester of the month, pattern, z, hand of glory, patterns
