Tuesday Photos
A big, huge THANK YOU to everyone that has already sent in an Extra Credit blocks! It has been so exciting for me to get to see your background fabrics close up and feel like I have a tiny piece of your PoD project. A few of you have included extras for both me and for future monthly prizes, and I greatly appreciate that as well. Thank you ALL for everything. Your participation in the PoD is a gift to me, everything on top of that is icing on the cake!
If you have not made your block yet, please check your pattern. A few of you have let me know that when you print the pattern, it's being scaled down. Remember to set your scaling to "none" when printing and it should print 7" (7 1/2" unfinished - that is to say, including seam allowance).

The April prize was donated by mkissa (2 magical fat quarters), queenmlv (embroidered quilt label), ladyoflosttimes (snitch pendant), hpfan_poa (Flying Harry pendant), lunaneela (Hogwarts pin cushion) and Sewhooked (HP Quiddtich fat quarter & PoD button). Prizes will vary slightly month to month and are awarded the last Tuesday of the month.
Please remember that to be eligible for the monthly drawing, you need to be a member of hp_paperpiecing and share block photos that will then be posted by me for Tuesday Photos. Only block photos made with patterns from Sewhooked or hp_paperpiecing are eligible.
Share your photos by emailing them to me, posting links OR images in the comments of any post OR by posting them to our flickr group! Please note that if you post your photos in the flickr group or in comments, it is not necessary to email them to me. You can share any Harry Potter block photo any time, including PoD photos, so if you have a late start, please continue to share! If I ever miss your photos, please let me know!
Break Time!
I posted a poll last week to ask if a week off between PoD Week 15 and PoD Week 16 would be helpful. The majority (63%!) have spoken and said YES, that you would like a week of. I will post Week 15 tomorrow, April 20, and then there will be a week break. Week 16 will be posted on May 4, and then we will continue with the second half of the PoD blocks. There is a possibility that I will post something next Wednesday... I'll have to give that some thought!
See you tomorrow with Week 15...a block I'm very excited to share!
