I think what I like best is the character journey here for Pansy and the way the world journeys along with her. From the simplistic to the life and death and back to nothing at all. And I love the way Pansy's so niave about having joined the Death Eaters - sure she'll be rewarded - only to be shoved in the cell with Ginny. That says a lot about the way Voldemort treats his followers that I think is so very true, and without having to say it in so many words outright.
