Krewe du Vieux Parade

OK - a bunch of people expressed interest in this a while back so I wanted to give everyone a heads up to allow planning time. The Krewe du Vieux parade is on Saturday February 7th (this is the first Saturday in February).
Please note: THIS IS AN ADULT PARADE! Really. I am not joking. One of the sub-krewes is the Mystic Krewe of Sperms. Do you see where this is going? OK then.

The Route
The parade starts at the corner of Chartres and Elysian Fields to Franklin Ave, to Royal St going upriver (into the Quarter) to Conti, down Decatur, up Frenchman back to Royal, then down Elysian Fields to end up where it all started.
Good Things to Note
- High perv points
- Small local crowd
- Biting social commentary
- Tourists rarely know about it
- Low volume of throws (good thing for me)
- Can wear robes and no one will care
Things to Remember
- Can be REALLY cold that early in Feb!!! Ask me about last year. BRR!
- The Quarter/Marigny parking issues
- Low volume of throws (might be bad for some)
- Odds of stranger groping higher than usual. (Can be good, can be REALLY not good too)
- Walking/mule drawn parade - not going to move fast.
- Mules. Enough said.
