Not COMPLETELY Harry Potter related....

Elise reminded me with her planning of "Beedle the Bard" release party that there is yet ANOTHER book being released very soon, the third book in the Inheritance Trilogy, Brisingr, is coming out September 20th.
I have enjoyed the Inheritance Trilogy so far (well, Eldest was a bit more boring and reminded me a lot of reading Fellowship of the Ring, but anywhos), and I am excited to see how the story ends.
I'm very impressed with the author, too. Christopher Paolini was only 15 years old when he wrote Eragon. FIFTEEN!!!! And, no, it does NOT read like a fanfiction written by a fifteen year old. It's actually well written with very good character development. The movie was the worst adaptation I have yet to see of a book, so if you haven't read it, DO NOT judge the book off the movie.
Anywhos, I know Barnes and Noble is hosting a Midnight Release Party on the 19th. I'm willing to go anywhere if anyone else is interested but doesn't want to travel too far. I just know that B&N is definitely hosting a party, so there is always that.
I was also interested in attending that party to see if there would be any interest among the kids as far as my idea for the Literacy Organization goes (H.A.R.R.Y.- Honors Association for Recreational Reading in Youths).
So, thanks for reminding me, Elise. And hopefully, I have some takers for the party.
Hope to see you there!
