Author's Notes: This is a slight misinterpretation of the prompt. Apologies for the lateness of this but I have been offline all of yesterday and most of today.
"Why are you making me do this? You know I hate Christmas."
Remus gave him a Look as he wobbled on the top of the stepladder and finished hanging a string of lights. He gave Sirius a slightly malicious smile as he said "You didn't hate the Christmases at Hogwarts." He held up a finger as Sirius stared to interrupt. "Or the one at the Potters after you ran away or Harry’s first one, which I distinctly recall not being able to decide who was more excited, you or him. Now stop being such a whinging bastard and help me put up these decorations."
Sirius dug out his wand and started to attached the tinsel and ribbons to the walls, mumbling under his breath "Dunno why you're bothering with my harpy of a mother shrieking the place down at the drop of a hat." He stopped at the sound of Remus laughing.
"You're laughing at me, aren't you?"
"Not really. I've just thought of a way to shut her up that only really comes once a year", he smirked, waving a sprig of mistletoe.
