Pinch-hitting: For birB

Molly and Arthur always did Christmas shopping together, and though most would assume that shopping (mostly for jumper colour combinations) for seven children would be the worst bit (Molly faffed between colours for hours before choosing a completely different one), the trickiest part actually comes in when they try to buy the other’s present and not let the other realise it.

“I’ll just, er, go to the loo, Molly,” Arthur said, taking a few steps back.

“Sure, dear,” Molly replied, smiling knowingly, taking out a tally and marking it down.

Arthur really needed to do something about his losing streak.

Ernie visited Hannah for the holidays for their Muggle Studies project. He’d spent the time packing and preparing for the few days he’d be staying over by filling his bag with as much Muggle clothing as he thought suitable, to which Hannah had giggled at his Classic Tweed Collection and brought out her brother’s jeans and shirts to wear.

“Here, put on a coat, we’ll go caroling,” she told him cheerfully.

Ernie frowned. “We sing Christmas carols too, how is it different here?”

Hannah grinned. “It isn’t, that’s sort of part of the point, isn’t it?”

And she was right.

To birB: As with Petite Choufleur, it's a little sad we've not heard from your secret santa. Hope you enjoy these, happy new year!
