Sorry I'm late! Was out of town. ^_^

For: rapscallionne, my lovely! (Isn't life funny, darling?) She requested Marauders. Particularly Sirius. And then, I like
Snape, too. And did not want slash, preferably, but it doesn't bother me or anything. No Remus/Sirius. Which kills me, you know, because they're my OTP, darling. This took some time. ^_-

“It’s that time again!” Sirius declared.

From his bed, Remus warily asked, “What time?”

James’s jaw dropped. “Sacrilege!”

“It’s that time! The time of frosty fall air, pumpkin caramel rum, and scaring the shit out of children!” Sirius cried extravagantly.

“And that’s different how?” Remus retorted dryly, looking skeptical.

“Because we get to do it in costume, of course!” James rejoiced.

“Indeed!” Sirius exclaimed.

“Oh,” Moony said, looking disheartened.

“What are you going as, Peter?” James inquired.

After some thought, Peter said, “I think I will be a sock.”

This earned him an odd look, but he was re-engrossed in his magazine and didn’t notice. Sirius shrugged. “James?”

“Quidditch star,” James said promptly.

Sirius scowled. “You’re always a Quidditch star.”

“Precisely.”

“Okay, Remus. Don’t let me down, mate,” Sirius begged. “What are you going as?”

With a groan, Remus hid under his sheets. From beneath the material, he heard Sirius give a bark of a laugh. “Brilliant, Moony. A ghost. No one will be wearing that.”

Remus glared over the sheets. “Alright. You’ve criticised everyone else. What are you going as?”

Sirius looked pleased with himself. “A dog,” he declared grandly.

Remus blinked. “Your originality humbles me. I am humbled.”

Much love!
