Halloween 2021
Welcome to a different version of HP Halloween.
This year, the fest will be run entirely on A03, using the archive to match people, so things will be a little different. What will stay the say is that you will write 200 words exactly for your recipient. Because of the many characters in this fandom, you'll have to be willing to go outside your OTP. It will be a multi pairing exchange in a fandom with many characters and it requires a little Gryffindor bravery. If you really, really, really only want only one pairing, this is probably not the fest for you.
Nominations for characters will end on September 18.

Basic Rules
1. You must be 18 years of age or over.
2. The exchange will be run through AO3. You must have an account there. However we will use the LJ and DW comms for announcements.
3. All gift drabbles must be 200 words according to AO3 word count. The drabbles should be centered around Halloween, Fall and/or spooky scenarios
4. You will be responsible to upload your own fic. You MUST add Titti and starduchess as co-authors when you pot. We will read through the story and fix any minor SPAG. If there is any problem with content, we will reach out to you to make any modification necessary. We will remove our names as soon as we approve your story. Also, make sure to include the appropriate warning or choose 'Choose Not To Use Archive Warnings'. You MUST warn for underage sexual content.
5. All fics must be uploaded by October 25. All fics will be revealed on October 31. Do NOT repost your fic anywhere until NOVEMBER 3. We want to give everyone the time to read and to comment.
6. This is a gift exchange. Please make sure to thank your writer. The other side of the coin is that as a writer you should write something your recipient will like. If you write anything that includes Dislikes, you will be asked to rewrite it. If you can/won't, you will be dropped from the exchange.
Requests
1. Characters: You must request a minimum of 6 characters and a maximum of 10. You can only request a character once. If you request a character multiple times, you will be asked to edit your sign up form. Also try to pick a few major characters. If you only pick rare characters, you might not be paired.
2. Categories You can pick up to three categories, between Het, Slash, Femmeslash and Gen. You can choose only one, or more than one.
3. Details: Please write here a brief description of what you want. This section will contain the following:
OPT OUT - 3 maximum of three pairings you do not want.
DNW - a list of things you dislike (incest, non-con, MCD, Death Eaters, etc)
Your Author will not be allowed to write anything in your OPT OUT or DNW list
Optional
- Preferred Pairings: List at least 3. Understand that your Author does not have to write the pairing you specified.
- Prompts
- Genres you like: Horror, romance, drama, etc
- General Likes
- Additional information: you can add if you want connected canon (Cursed Child, Fantastic Beast) or are willing to accept Original Characters since they can't be included unless specifically asked for. Please understand that your writer doesn't have to include the any of this, but they might. You may also ask for cross-overs, but since this is a Harry Potter fest, it might be very unlikely that your writer will know the fandom and write in the fandom.
Offers

2. If you don't upload a fic by October 25, you will be dropped from the fest. This is not because we want to be dickish but to find pinch hitters.
Pinch hitters
1. We will post on October 25 on the LJ and DW comms asking for any pinch hitter we need.
2. All submission for pinch hitters will be October 30.
