"He's a Wibbling Glowcatcher," said Luna, petting the creature that clung to her left forearm.
It looked like someone had squished a chicken and dyed it bright orange.
"Isn't he lovely? And if you want ghost stories tonight, he can show us some nice ones."
"Please, anything to keep the kids entertained," Hermione sighed. Hosting the Weasley clan's Halloween party was no easy task. "How does it work?"
Luna smiled serenely. "Oh, just feed him sweets and think of the dead."
Hermione felt her throat tighten as she summoned a chocolate bar from the trick-or-treat cauldron by the door. Twelve years since the Battle, and still...
The Glowcatcher swallowed, twitched and chirped.
"Native to the Danish rainforests, of course."
"But there aren't-"
The Glowcatcher blazed.

"After the children go to bed, then?" said Luna, her cheeks somewhat pink.
"Um," said Hermione faintly.
The Glowcatcher burped.
