Severus poured the hot chocolate into a mug and, picking it up, he quietly walked towards the closed door. With a flick of his wand he opened it and walked towards the bed where Remus was currently asleep. He put the mug down on the small nightstand next to the bed, and leaned down, placing a kiss on the only exposed body part he found; the messy brown hair that was beginning to show signs of grey. It wasn’t long before he saw movement under the covers and another second before the covers were pushed down.
"Good morning," Remus said gruffly, sitting up in bed.
"Good morning," Severus said, passing the cup of chocolate and offering another kiss.
He watched as Remus took a careful sip, then closed his eyes in bliss. However, in the next minute his eyes reopened as he sat up and looked towards Severus.
"Please tell me you didn’t use the chocolate that was in a small bag in the pantry behind the coffee can?" Remus pleaded.
"As a matter of fact, I did," Severus said, sitting down next to Remus.
Remus groaned, falling back against the headboard. "That was all the chocolate we had."
