Scorpius would probably just sneer at him anyway for being unoriginal regardless of his costume. He was going to the Malfoys' Hallowe'en do as Zorro, a Muggle character his dad had once mentioned.

'You look so handsome!' Ginny exclaimed, while James and Harry pretended to swoon.
'It's just a costume,' Albus mumbled.
'Nah, it's definitely your arse in those trousers,' James said.
'Must you?' Ginny groaned.
'What? It's sweet he's trying to impress Scorpius by showing off his...assets.'
'What are you lot up to tonight?' Albus asked.
'Oh, the usual: we'll light a marvelous bonfire and Dad will tell us his scary Voldemort stories again, while we try not to slit our wrists with excitement,' James drawled.
Harry sighed. 'Nothing I do impresses you people.'
'Do enjoy yourselves. I'd better get going before His Majesty deplores over my tardiness. Again.'
