Oh, synn. I can't believe you can do this; it's so unfair. I thought we were united in our glorious non-artistry against the B/S/W. Clearly, I was wrong. *cries* I suspected this might be true when I saw your Snape in July...

You really caught the subtle malevolence in his face; I think it's the way you pinched his lips, what did it. Really great twisting of the original. And the thing that came to mind for me was, 'The Bad Seed.'

Believe me, we are - you saw the part about a lot of it being traced, right? I can't actually *draw*... I can just fake my way through it with other elements.

It's you and the B/S/W's fault I'm doing this, you know! Her pictures, and your encouragement like this, makes me want to try my hand at more fanart. So there. : P

Thank you for the lovely comment, and the title idea! : ) I think the face in the original was really what made me want to rework it, so I was focused on that part a lot. It's better in the original, and I think you're right, it's all in the pinching of the lips, the way they're just slightly turned down.
