*stares* Wow, I think this one may be my favorite yet! I love her green dress and the touch of matching green eyeshadow, and dashing Neville, and the positioning of them is perfect. (plus I've always had a secret soft spot for Neville/Pansy... she is named after a flower, after all ;)
Oh, I'm really glad you like it - I wasn't sure about the background, but I hadn't noticed I'd coloured the whole pic on one layer, so I couldn't change without destroying the whole pic. Well, I would never have thought of this pair, but after drawing it I can picture it a bit better :-))

I have no idea what you're talking about, heh, but I liked the background. It's a nice contrast with Neville and Pansy and sort of says "wow" to the kiss, if that makes sense. Well, I would never have thought of this pair, but after drawing it I can picture it a bit better The first prompt table I ever did was a Neville/Pansy claim because it seemed like such a challenge to get them together! :D And it was, and I did, though they eventually married other people.
LOL - OK - Layers are used in Photoshop to draw different parts of the pic. It's a bit like a sandwich, the 1st layer would be the slice of bread, the second a slice of cheese, the third some ham, the fourth some lettuce, and the top layer would be another slice of bread. In my pic the top layer is the lineart and the colouring is underneath on one single layer, which makes corrections complicated because you have to pay attention not to destroy the main subject while erasing other parts. (There are of course means of isolating some parts, but you still have to work with a lot of concentration to avoid getting a "cut-out" impression.)
Hehe, I thought those two wouldn't make a plausible married couple ;-)) Kudos to you to have managed getting them together and letting them marry other people nevertheless. (Sorry for the typos in my previous post! I always notice them too late :()
I can imagine Pansy kissing Neville post war--no more Dark Lord to worry about! I keep looking at this and imagining dead Nagini at their feet, out of sight.
The rainbow is quite garish for this type of pic though--only real gripe. It's the very first thing my eye was drawn to, rather than the couple and they're worth getting all the attention!
*sheepish* I definitely deserve some scolding as I didn't even mean to keep the garish rainbow, but I didn't pay attention and painted the characters directly on the same layer. And I was much too tired and lacking concentration to cut them out and redo another background. But I think I will, I really hate those garish colours and they do distract from the main topic, as you very well put it. So look out for an improved version some time and thanks for the concrit which is most appreciated.
