Fabulous use of the prompt!

I loved Sybill in this -- nuanced, with strengths and weaknesses, and neither really what others in her life saw of her. Great characterizations of everyone, particularly Sybill, Minerva, and Firenze, and really very clever & seamless weaving of canon scenes into the story.

I especially loved the final two lines. But then, Minerva is my favorite character. :-)

I know this wasn't a "gift fic," or fic exchange, but it turned out to be a lovely gift despite that.

Great job! How you throw in all these predictions which one can only make sense of in the light of canon... But how frustrating for Sybill that nobody wants to hear about them (especially on Minerva's wedding day).

Sybill coming to Hogwarts as a first-year is a very strong scene.
