Claiming, however, only starts on May 15th. It is not possible to claim beforehand, and bribing won’t help, for two of your mods are upright, honest persons who have vowed to keep the Slytherin in check. (Last year they didn’t even allow me to cheat on the Guessing Poll. That’s how upright they are. Broomsticks are more flexible.)
So unless you have an offer we can’t refuse (like a villa in Florida, for instance, or even, say, a month’s free use of one - at least 6 bedrooms, several bathrooms, and a pool, please) you cannot claim until May 15th.
You can, however, think up delectable prompts, pimp the fest to your friends, check the prompt list on a daily basis, and have enough online fun to neglect all your RL cronies in this glorious celebration of hp_friendship.
