Warning: None yet, but there will be explicit sex and discussion of child abuse in later chapters.
Author's Note: This bunny has been eating away at me for ages, but I've been a bit leery of writing it, since I know net to nothing about British boarding school culture in the 1970's. Many liberties have therefore been taken. This was meant to be smutty but, uh, apparently I haven't got to that bit yet. Curse my need for plot!

Excerpt:
"What's this?" Sirius put his hand theatrically to his heart. "Sweet sixteen and never been kissed, is that it, Lupin?"

Lupin glanced up at him, and something indecipherable moved in the depths of his eyes. "Leave it, Black," he said very softly, his face going red.

The edge in his tone caused the laughter to die on Sirius's lips, but James and Peter hadn't heard.

"Is that why you left your last school, Lupin?" James laughed. "Did they tease you for a vuh-vuh-virgin? Don't worry; we can take care of that. Lots of easy girls in the village. I'll bet Yaxley would do you before she'd do Pete. At least you're taller than she --"

With a yell, Lupin threw himself off of his own bed, across Sirius's and onto James's, grabbing the messy-haired boy by the collar.

"Shut up!" he shouted. "Just shut the hell up! I'm not going to your stupid party, all right?"
