"Anything?" Harry asked, and Draco snuggled closer, resting his head against Harry's shoulder; the strands of fine blonde hair tickled his neck.
"Anything," Draco repeated, in a soft voice full of certainty. "More than anything."
Harry hugged him close and kissed him, and Draco smiled against Harry's lips. "Love you..."
"Love you too, God, Draco..."
"Shhh," Draco admonished gently. "No words right now."
"Have something else in mind?"
"Maybe I did," Draco answered coyly, and Harry grinned and pushed him back on the bed.

It was too easy, really. Far, far too easy to lie to Harry. A few amazing shags, some well-paced adoring looks, the right amount of sincerity and nerves in his voice, and Harry would believe. He would believe whatever Draco told him.
It was too easy, really. Far, far too easy to kill Harry. A well-placed smile, a refilled goblet of pumpkin juice, a phial of poison, and Harry was dead. He was dead, because he trusted Draco.
Too easy.
Draco hated himself afterward, and he hated the lies that hadn't been lies. The lies he hadn't even realised were true, until it was too late.
Still. You did what you had to to survive.
"A job well done, Draco."
"Thank you, my Lord."
Because no one's going to look out for you but you.
"You are dismissed."
"Thank you, my Lord."
And that's all there is to it.
