The Tale of Prince Severus

Jun 09, 2007 19:04

Title: The Tale of Prince Severus; being the chronicle of his quest to find that Certain Person Whom He Rather Admired and Of Whom He Was Inexplicably Fond (aka his True Love; but don't tell him I said that)
Author: Nehalenia
Challenge:  Written for the Third Challenge at sl_duel, a most worthy community where Severus and Lucius battle for supremacy with quills instead of swords.  (The discerning reader will, of course, go traipsing over to investigate said community, read the vastly entertaining entries and, yea, vote! ;-D )
Paring: Severus/Lucius
Rating: PG-13
Warnings:  Nothing really; a bit of snark, belated snogging, suggestion of inappropriate party activity, and wanton destruction of foliage.
Summary: Officially, Severus did not believe in True Love -- which made him something of a heretic in princely circles - and anyone who sought to debate the issue with him generally ended up hexed right into the next fairy tale.
Author’s Notes: Beta-read by the incomparable ”nishizono”
