I'm not one for Pottercest as a rule, but I was still drawn in - - and this is really sweet despite the angst - love James' thinking 'fuck the rest of the world' and being all protective of Albus.

Okay, I have never read any Pottercest before because the idea didn't really appeal to me. However, your story was so well written and the emotions so real that it immediately drew me in. I really believed that Albus and James' love was so pure, and I loved that they decided to stay together in the end. The side pairings and backstory was also so rich and complicated. I don't know how you were able to pack so much story into such a short piece, but you did, and I adored it. I was upset when it was over and would love to see a short sequel or prequel in the future if you are feeling inspired. Thanks for sharing this.

I love how James is so protective in this, I can totally see that being something he'd be like with or without the love he has for his brother. The back story is great in this too - especially the draco/harry past that slides into james and albus's future. Great work!
