Wow, this really was heartbreaking. Interesting to see just where people draw the lines when it comes to prejudice and pecking orders. Great job.

Wow. *breathes again*

You sure broke my heart in those short 5000 words. This is so excrutiatingly well-written. And what a fascinating exploration of anti-Muggle sentiment in the wizarding world, for once not with the Malfoys, but the Weasleys. We really never know how the Weasleys would have dealt with a Squib child, do we? It was very easy to be friends and make family with the famous wizarding child, Harry Potter. Even welcoming Hermione into the family, greatest witch of her generation, did not make the Weasley family come in close contact to Muggles. But what would have happened if Arthur and Molly had to really get to know the Muggle world, not as curiosities, but as the world their grand-daughter lived in? Thanks so much for writing this. *bows*

I'm rather speechless by your praise, and the rec, and everything, and so I'll just say thank you so very much, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

Ohhh, painful. Of course Ginny, from a magical family, would find Lily being a squib hard - but the way she is here, in character but utterly in the wrong is crushing. The reactions of the Weasleys hurt but ring true, and poor Lily, cut off from her family... Wonderful work. It hurts :S

Well done... I do like the anguish and emotion and how hard Harry tries and even though Ginny comes off really badly she probably feels helpless... great stuff.
